Day 1: Arrival – Jomo Kenyatta International Airport

Upon your arrival you will be met by our representative and you will be transferred to your hotel.

Accommodation at Nairobi Serena Hotel. Meal plan: Bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru

After your breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for your hot lunch and enjoy an evening game drive.

The park covers 180 km². The park is the flamingo breeding site in East Africa. Black rhino and white rhino are all found in Lake Nakuru National Park along with leopard, buffalo, warthog and waterbuck.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara

After your morning breakfast proceed to Maasai Mara National Reserve.

The park has 1,510 km² of incredible wide open landscapes and riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek Rivers. The park holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the number that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa.

As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of hundred thousands of wildebeest, zebra and attendant predators.

Enjoy your lunch en-route and an evening game drive.

Day 4: Maasai Mara

Spend the day on your private vehicle and explore the Maasai Mara and its surroundings.

The open grasslands are home to incredibly rich and varied flora and fauna. The annual migration of millions of wildebeest, zebra and antelope is the highlight of any visitor to Africa from July to September when they move north from Serengeti in search of green pastures and water before returning south again in October.

The Maasai Mara National Reserve is arguably Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary.

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Serengeti National Park

Have a leisurely breakfast then drive to the Isebania Border ready to cross to Tanzania where the famous Serengeti awaits for you in the late afternoon.

The park has an area of 14,763 km² of protected area that borders Kenya’s Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Experience your private game drive on the vast Serengeti plains. The Serengeti landscape is stunningly beautiful and the Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa.

Day 6-7: Serengeti

A time for a new perspective as you enjoy full day game viewing drives on the endless plains of Serengeti National Park tracking the wildebeest migration with your private guide.

You will spend the days searching for the big herds of wildebeest and zebra migrating through the Serengeti ecosystem. Witness the prides of lion, cheetah and other predators waiting for the right moment to attack. You will also see lots of elephant, hippo, impala, gazelle and different varieties of bird species.

Day 8: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

The adventure continues after your breakfast as you drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a crater tour drive with picnic lunch.

Unmatched for its natural variety and breathtaking beauty, there are few places on earth where such a tremendous diversity of landscapes exist. Descend some 610 m deep into the crater which is home to an abundance of wildlife and a photogenic paradise. The crater, the largest intact caldera in the world teams with an abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor due to the rich habitat.

Experience big prides of lion, herds of wildebeest and zebra, herds of buffalo and the rare and endangered black rhino. Leopards are mostly seen on the crater rim forest. Apart from its wildlife richness, the crater is also home to hundreds of bird species, refreshing and feeding in the lake and swamps of the crater.

Late afternoon you will start ascending the crater drive to the lodge for an evening at leisure and overnight.

Day 9: Ngorongoro – Tarangire

Another beautiful day starts with breakfast then drive to Tarangire National Park.

Named after the river that nourishes the wildlife of a vast ecosystem, Tarangire is home to large elephant families, zebra, wildebeest, eland, buffalo, gazelle, waterbuck, kudu, giraffes, lions, cheetahs and leopards and an unsurpassed diversity of birds.

From June to November, masses of wildlife congregating around the Tarangire River and Silale Swamp. Spend your evening by relaxing at the lodge or at swimming pool.

Day 10: Tarangire – Amboseli National Park

After your breakfast you will leave with picnic lunch to Amboseli National Park via Arusha town. Then you continue driving to the Namanga border, after the immigration and customs formalities you will switch your guide and vehicle and proceed to Amboseli National Park.

Despite its changing habitat, Amboseli National Park is possibly the best wildlife area to experience elephants at a close range, feeding and bathing in the swamps which forms the highlights of any safari. Enjoy the great views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 11: Amboseli - Nairobi

Wake up early in the morning for a game drive. You have a good chance to see lion and cheetahs, big herds of elephant, hippo, zebra and wildebeest. Enjoy good views of Mount Kilimanjaro then drive back to the lodge for breakfast.

After your leisurely breakfast you will take the picnic lunch boxes and start driving to Nairobi to connect your flight back home at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
