Special Green Season Safari

Cheetah on tree branch, Tanzania

A 7 day safari to Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti

The perfect safari itinerary for those who love space, peace and quiet as the low season is usually less busy and dusty with beautiful and green landscapes.

Tanzania’s wet season in April and May is a time when everything is either in flower, about to give birth or has cubs, pups, calves or fawns and many colourful birds abopund. This makes an interesting safari and scenically enjoyable.

There’s more water and you have to work a little harder for your sightings, but East Africa’s short grass and open plains are the perfect wet season safari destination.

It’s good value too; the safari lodges and camps will cost you almost half what they would in peak season a few months later. This green season safari offers real value and a memorable lifetime experience that you’ll never regret.
